Appeal to End sexual violence against children in India!
An Appeal From KSCF-
Kailash Satyarthi
Children's Foundation
Appeal to End sexual
violence against children in India!
We are marching with Mr.
Kailash Satyarthi.
We are marching to make sure that a child is not abducted in every 6 minutes.
We are marching to stop a minor girl child from becoming pregnant.
We are marching to stop trafficking of children into bonded sexual labor.
We are marching to express our moral outrage against these horrific crimes, and end them here and now.
We are Marching as the ‘Bharat Yatra’ (India March) to sensitize, encourage and hold accountable every Indian to stop sexual violence and trafficking of children.
Mr. Kailash Satyarthi’s vision guides our journey that is ambitious and inspiring.Travelling 11,000 kms across 22 states of India, our aim is to reach every Indian with the message to stop child sexual abuse and trafficking. We do not intend to stop in early March but with peoples’ support, in some locations our partners have offered us places to stay and others have arranged our food and water and in some places, we had to seek our own resources. But still long way to go – to travel and to cover 200 towns and villages during our Yatra. We believe that in places where we don’t know where our shelter or food will come from - you will come forward and pave our way with your generosity, commitment and support. We know that there will still be places where arrangements may not be made - there we will simply rely on the grit and resilience of 150 core marchers.
Pledge and commitment to be a part of building an India that does not, will not, and cannot tolerate sexual abuse, trafficking, and violence against its children, so support our journey. We need to raise funds above INR 5 million in the campaign to complete this pan India Yatra and we need your support today to meet this target. Join us, send us your voices, views, share our story with friends and family, start a fund raiser so that children’s voices can be heard across India. Help us to meet this commitment - we owe to our children.
Thank you for your trust in our mission as well as in Kailash ji’s Vision.
